After the migration is finished while synchorized option is ticked (from hyper-v to vmware)

after the migration is done, what's the procedure? isnt there a final synchronization or i turn off the VM to synchronize? or the converter automatically shutsdown the VM and turn it on from vcenter?

because it doesnt make sense to finish th migration while the source VM is active, the time i turn off the VM and the migration completion data will be lost?

Once conversion is over shut down the VM in source and boot up in destination.

yes i got you, but when its synchronized, lets say vmware vcenter converter , once its finished u shut off the vm then perform final synchronization, then power it on from vcenter.

how does this work on starwind? once its done, is there final synchronization? if the vm has active IOPS will i lose those iops from the time the converter finished and i turned off the VM?

StarWind V2V Converter does not shut automatically the target VM can stay online even after conversion is over.
In the current build, you need to shut down the source VM manually.
