Trying to do a P2V migration to Azure, and the upload of half full 512GB system seems to take ca 5 days - after 16 hours it shows 11%.
Network usage is 8-9Mpbs and Azure shows ingress speed ca 60MB/min. And ca 1000 PutPage transactions per minute.
All this should be well below any Azure limits.
Haven’t been able to figure out, where the throttling comes from - any advice?

1. I am not sure. The usual pay as you go account, and the default settings. North Europe region. The storage account was created by the StarWind program:
performance=standard
replication=GRS
account kind=storagev2
2. Speedtest gives 428Mbps down and 322Mbps up, so this is not a limiting factor. And the network usage by v2v_converter.exe is very stable in 8-9Mbps range.

Now I have repeated this with another PC in another location (different WiFi, different Internet connection), using aslo different Azure location (France Central instead of Europe North).
However, the result is exactly the same - upload is limited to 8Mbps (1MBps).
I really hope there is a solution - 5-6 days upload for 512GB disk is a big problem.

Hi,
Is there any way you can try copying a big file into Azure? Just to see how it goes with the large file transfers.
Normally, from what I know with VTL uploads (not related but still), we split the large files into chunks to benefit more from file transferring and fit the limitations of the cloud for the optimal file size. What I am trying to say is pushing a large file into the cloud takes longer than multiple small files that add up to the same size.
