Hi,

The Starwind converter does not work properly for me.
I tried to convert a CentOS from ESXI to HyperV but I have kernel panic when I try to start the VM in the hyperV.
The source is 140GB virtual machine, and the converter doesn’t say any error after the conversion.
Can you please let me know what the issue is.

That's because we patch only Windows to reboot into maintenance mode. For Linux you have so start OS is service mode to rebuild drivers for newly emulated hardware. Sorry about this!

Unfortunately I can not boot into single mode, it stops at the same point. Can you please provide more verbose answer how to fix this? My OS is CentOS 5.7 Kernel 2.6.18-274.17.1.el5 x86_64

Hello Belmont!

Could you please try converting this vhdx file back to vmdk and mount in ESXi.
Please let me know if it worked, thank you.
