Re: Domain Migration

Hello Jhale! You are absolutely right, StarWind does not really care about your domain, thus there is nothing to be done in StarWind when changing Domain. Although, you could find some useful information in our Maintenance document: https://www.starwindsoftware.com/ha-maintenance-and-configuration-c...

Re: New Installation

Hello Gharding! Well, L2 cache is temporary disabled, thus there is no possibility for L2 cache to cause any data corruption on your future system. Speaking abut LSFS, i agree that we had terrible issues with it, but we have it fixed now. After we fixed it, we never faced data losses. So, if you are...

Re: Migrating from ESXi to Hyper-V

Hello Lucki!

We recommend using RAID 10.

Yes, all steps mentioned above are feasible. But again, i would recommend using RAID 10, if it is possible.

Let me know if you have any questions left, thank you.

Re: L2 cache not working

Hello!

Approximate time for this release to come out is 4 weeks. Dedup on thick images was always disabled, so i am not sure i understand your question.
Although, you could enable Windows deduplication for thick images.

Hello bofh!

Could you please submit a support ticket and provide me with next information there:

1) What SW management console build are you using
2) What is the size of your LSFS device
3) What is the size of the storage, on which LSFS device resides

Thank you.
