Re: Data corruption on rebooting starwind on diskbridge LUN

2) If you run a single-node (which is not considered to be a production scenario) make sure you DO NOT assign write-back cache to it as huge amount of writes would be discarded with storage node rebooted. OK, we'll throw a warning message in V8 or maybe disable single node write-back cache usage. Q...

Re: LSFS & Defrag Tools ????

So NTFS layered on top of LSFS should not be defragmented. NTFS inside VM should not be defragmented as well. Can you elaborate on this some more, not fully getting this. "NTFS layered on top of LSFS" and "NTFS inside VM" !, doesn't LSFS runs on any windows server File system ? ...

Re: Windows Server 2012 R2 and Storage Spaces compatiblity

Thick (ImageFile) devices don't support underlaying disks with 4k block size now. Previous versions allowed to create devices on such disks, but devices could function incorrectly. Now we have added check for 4k block size at the stage of device initialization. So if we tell Storage Space to use 8K...

Re: Copy from one LSFS to another LSFS ???

I would say Menu item!
but, can LSFS see the file-system in it's container or to put it another way, which in most case the answer is "NO".
Does starwind lsfs iSCSI container knows what type of file system is been use to format its' container?
