Good! Thank you and good luck! :)

Thanks for your help!

We need complete StarWind log. For now we can only GUESS you've used to share the drive you keep Windows and swap file on.

Unfortunately you'll need to create new volume and copy all the content from the old one in file mode. To "shrink" we need to parse NTFS and it's a whole overkill for our product. We're looking for other solution to this issue however.

Re: ImageFile vs. SPTI/DiskBridge Performance

Yes. B/c it allows caching. DiskBridge does not. SPTI is serialized by MS design so is definite performace killer (that's why we've DISABLED it for hard disks).

CDP, VTL and De-Duplication - quite soon. One or two weeks from now. Web UI - a bit later (need complete re-work). For VHD - we'll do it immediately after CDP, VTL & De-Duplication -enabled release. Not late in any case. The same about VMware container image format. Thanks! P.S. Please drop me a...

Re: Log Questions

1) Good. 2) Good. 3) StarPort is NOT a service. It's a driver. Please check %Program Files%\Rocket Division Software\StarPort folder for Logs subfolder and send us it's zipped content. Yes. If Windows cannot flush cache for more then 30 seconds it purges it and says "Write failed". But wit...

Re: Disk Event ID 15 Errors

This means emulated disk is not ready. Something wrong is with either StarPort or CoRAID box or your network... Let's find out what exactly. So: 1) Check collisions ratio. 2) Check CoRAID own logs. 3) Send us StarPort log. Thanks! I have a windows Server 2003 SP2 server that is connected to a Coraid...

We're representing device in the way iSCSI target tells us. So bug your iSCSI target vendor to make proper device type emulation (for now obviously they don't have the right one). Or switch to StarWind. We perfectly map physical or virtual DVD / Blu-Ray drives over the network.
