Re: StarWind migrate from Hyper-V to vcenter as Thin

That would have been nice, but unfortunately I had to look for another solution and am now using ‘VMware vCenter Converter 9’. I thought I could give my colleagues a simple tool that they could use in a variety of ways. I’m looking forward to it if this option is included. It’s already possible for ...

StarWind migrate from Hyper-V to vcenter as Thin

When I migrate a single Hyper-V file to vCenter (using ‘Create new VM’), I can choose whether to create a thick VHDD (high storage usage) or a thin VHDD (low storage usage). However, when I migrate a VM from a Hyper-V system to vCenter, I am not presented with this choice. The VM is defined as ‘Thin...

Re: vCenter - Crash after selecting the host.

Why I chose P2V: At first, I tried to migrate a Hyper-V VM to vCenter. But since the V2V tool kept crashing, I didn't feel like having to enter my login credentials over and over again. :) That's why I chose P2V. Then I just have to click through to the vCenter login screen :D The V2V crashes proba...

Re: vCenter - No items are listed

I hope, though, that this will be forwarded to the development department. Because this is a bug, not a solution.

Re: vCenter - No items are listed

It really is because of the folders. I would therefore like to request a product improvement. I removed the folders, and then StarWind V2V scanned the data set.

Re: vCenter - No items are listed

I would have liked to give feedback much earlier, but your website's anti-spam rule keeps telling me I have to wait a few minutes. :( The images and the log are included in the attachment. Unfortunately, there are significant limitations here. ( V2V_Diagnose_Attachments.7z ) I was able to narrow dow...

Re: vCenter - No items are listed

Unfortunately, I can only implement my plan through vCenter. So I'd appreciate it if there were a solution. It might be helpful to know that the SOAP authentication request is also received by vCenter.
