Re: Status of feature "avoid full syncs after outages"

Due to internal delays we only came back to this yesterday... Good for us, anyway :D Using Version V8 (build 15159) 08 June 2023 Fixed failure when extending StarWind HA device with disk-based synchronization journal. We opted for https://knowledgebase.starwindsoftware.com/maintenance/how-to-change-...

Re: Status of feature "avoid full syncs after outages"

Well is there a rough estimate when these builds might hit production? *Rough* is totally fine with me. But currently it could be 2024 and "stay tuned" becomes somewhat of a joke in that case :P  Because nobody reads "soon (rough ETA is in 2-3 builds)" as "over a ye...

Status of feature "avoid full syncs after outages"

Heyho, in https://forums.starwindsoftware.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5277 you mentioned "The build that helps users to avoid full syncs after outages should be available soon (rough ETA is in 2-3 builds). Check StarWind Release notes. Stay tuned!" https://forums.starwindsoftware.com/viewt...

Re: iSER production status

Cool! Is there a rough date for iSER? NVMe-oF is listed as "(demo)" in my env so it seems to be released for production, just as a separately priced module, yes? Have to ask so blatantly since LSWBC was also proudly presented on the site but then "experimental" in the actual soft...

Re: LSWBC availability status?

LSWBC is still an experimental feature and is likely to be deprecated together with LSFS. LSFS was designed to boost slow spindle drives. iSER production status

Howdy, when we implemented our env earlier this year iSER was still marked as experimental , so we obviously didn't mess with it. Can you provide an update if/when this is going to have production status? Latest info I could find in the forum is from 2020 https://forums.starwindsoftware.com/viewtopi...

Re: LSWBC availability status?

Howdy, could you provide an update/roadmap regarding this feature? I was happy when I first read about it https://www.starwindsoftware.com/blog/log-structured-write-back-cache-forget-about-post-blackout-full-syncs looking forward to using it a little saddened when I saw it's experimental on the rath...
