Re: Seeing no drives after connect - StarWind NVMe-oF Initiator

If others have the same issue, it was due to MultiPath. Have to go into MPIO Properties via Server-Manager>Tools>MPIO and on the Discover Multi-Paths tab, click "Add support for iSCSI devices", then the button 'ADD' within the "SPC-3 compliant" group. After that, connecting mount...

Seeing no drives after connect - StarWind NVMe-oF Initiator

On Windows 2019 (uptodate) baremetal, Mellanox Connectx-6 card (latest driver as of today), the initiator successfully mounts the target, but the drive doesn't show up in disk management.

The same target mounts fine on another machine with a Connectx-4 card.

The ability to use the NVMEoF Initiator on Hyper-V host?

Hi, I've noticed that the NVMEoF Initiator doesn't actually work on a Hyper-V host with a Virtual-Switch Interface binded to a Mellanox nic port, it only works with a physical port, is there any flexibility to possibly consider the NVMEoF initiator be able to run on a Hyper-V host using a virtual-rd...

That is fantastic!

Indeed it probably isn't going to be one of those 'important' features, but if it is implemented in a future revision, it would make the driver quite complete for workstation use-cases.

Re: Sleep not supported on Win10? - StarWind NVMe-oF Initiator

I understand, but this is not for the VSAN. This is just the standalone Starwind NVME-oF initiator, which works absolutely great for lab testing of fabrics etc., just would be nice to have the sleep in there because I like it so much that I'm actually using it on a workstation with some remote nvme ...

Sleep not supported on Win10? - StarWind NVMe-oF Initiator

Firstly, many thanks for being at the leading-edge of new software technology, it is nice to have a serious company supporting the Windows platform! :) I have the latest version of the NVME initiator installed and I've noticed that the driver doesn't support Windows sleep? if I have no targets initi...
