Re: Add existing file to target

No. GUI offers a more convenient way of doing it.

You are always welcome :)
P.s. Ask if you are eligible for NFR. That's a longer trial license.

Re: Connection to Proxmox Host not possible

Thanks!
There is an issue with connecting to the Proxmox host.
Try copying the files to the Hyper-V host > convert them locally > and assemble the VM. Or convert to OVF templates.

Re: Mutiple Drives

Thanks for your post. Converting the VM with multiple disks should be OK.
I have logged an internal testing request.

Re: Vmware to HyperV

Thanks for your notice!
V2V converter converts the format. The setting you are referring to is a failover-cluster-specific feature. That's why it might be off.

Re: Vmware to HyperV

Could you please explain what you mean by highly available?
I was saying to use the host. You need to import it to the cluster, I believe, after the migration is over.

Re: Vmware to HyperV

Try pointing to the CSV (C:\ClusterStorage) and use local admin credentials.
You need to point to the host as the destination.

Re: StarWind SAN & NAS Free - L1/L2 Cache

L2 is not a highly available RAM cache might be leaking.
For SSDs, RAM cache does not really improve anything from what I see in tests.

Re: Live migration (from Vmware7 to hypver v 2022)

Hi,

There's a known issue with live conversions. You might need to shut down the VM or try P2V conversion.
