Re: mount vhdx file

Anatolii,

Sorry for the delay. Can I please have the conversion logs to look into the issue in detail (you can see it here C:\Program Files\StarWind Software\StarWind V2V Converter\logs)?

Re: Cloning a Physical Win XP/98 machine to run on a VM (P2V)

Welcome to StarWind Forum. P2V does not work for 32bit systems. It also does not support Win 98 and XP. See more at https://www.starwindsoftware.com/v2v-help/Specifications.html. As a workaround, can you try disk to VHD (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/disk2vhd)? More readou...

Re: V2V from esxi SLOW

Bjorn,

According to the original request
I have been experiencing very slow (max 5MBps) from esxi to esxi, esxi to hyper-v, esxi to azure.
Could you please let me know was the Azure region you used?

Re: Issue Migrating AWS to Hyper-V

Can you please let me know what region you are converting to? Also, is there any way to test the link speed to that region from your server?

Re: VSAN Free for VSphere - NFS

Hi Theologis,

Sadly shares are not HA. True, you can build a highly available device and present it over iSCSI to the File Server.

Hi Theologis,

Yes, this is expected.
Thanks for your update! Let me know if you can create NFS now.

Re: VSAN Free for VSphere - NFS

Thanks for your question!
NFS share is not present in CentOS-based appliances. Please download the CVM OVF to use NFS shares.

Re: Any recommendations

You can use off-the-shelf hardware and publish storage over iSCSI at no cost. Since the solution is hardware-RAID-based (i.e., has no software RAID), performance should also be good. On top of that, you can scale to 2-node highly available storage if needed fairly easily. Feel free to book a tech ca...

Re: Cluster Disk not accessible on one node

Resynchronization is a normal event.
Can you move the CSV to the affected node or will it fail? Any antivirus installed (e.g., Sophos, Acronis CyberProtect, etc)?
