Starwind Virtual SAN V8 refuses to install on Windows Server 2016

Hello,
Forgive me if this has been asked, but I cannot get Virtual SAN v8 to install on my server 2016 machine. It keeps failing with the message "Setup failed to install Microsoft .NET Core. Error 3010. Is there a solution for this?
