I have a similar problem too. But unlike the case with VMs I just copied and erased file data to the deduplicated disk several times. Now the logical disk is empty, and there hasn't been any activity on it for a week. But 20 GB of raw storage files *.spspx are still there. Deduplication, deletion su...

Do you have plans to implement disk extend functionality in future versions?
As for shrink, I guess It could be done by creating a brand new thin-provisioned disk followed by copying the contents of the old disk to the new one. Anyway it will require some extra disk space for that.

Extend/shrink deduplicated disk

Is there any way to extend (increase the reported to OS disk size) or shrink (decrease the size of the underlying .spdata files) of the deduplicated thin-provisioned disk in SW 5.7.1733?

How to change target properties?

Hello,

I have a free version of SW 5.7.1733.

Is that posssible to change the target properties (i.e. caching policy or image file location) after it is created? The only options I see are to delete and force delete the target. The target is deduplicated disk.
