recover deleted data possible?

Hello,

We have by accident deleted 25GB of files of our starwind disk.
We have no backups.
We do have the starwind image file with a fixed size.
Is there a way we can recover (some) of the files?

Multiple devices per target

Hi All,

I am using a 3 node Starwind setup.
I have a target with 1 device.
I would like to another HA-device to the target, but the option is greyed out.
When I right-click the target, I would like to use the option "Add new Device to Target".
How can I do that?

Re: Starwind for IIS use

Thanks for your answer!

Creating a HA disk for every webserver is not a problem.
But these disks should be synced, is that possible?
And if I need a 600GB disk, should I reserve 600GB for each webserver?

Starwind for IIS use

Hi, We have a 3 node HA starwind setup for Hyper-V. But we also host websites using IIS. We would like to use Starwind iSCSI for this purpose. We have it running using the microsoft failover cluster to 'transform' the iSCSI disk to a UNC share, but this is creating some overhead. We have a load bala...

3 node setup, reset 1 failed node

Hello, We have a 3 node starwind setup with 5 replicated disks. One of our servers had a crashed RAID setup on the storage array. The OS array is still present (and starwind installation also). We have rebuild the storage array, but it's an empty disk now, as expected. How can we easily re-initiate ...

Windows MPIO remove double paths

Hi, We use starwind with a 3 NODE SAN setup. We use MPIO to handle this multipath setup. Last month we encountered some hardware problems and had to setup a new Starwind node. No problem, no downtime. But now we have in the MPIO overview multiple paths to the same server. How can I remove some of th...

I have exact the same question.
I'm also looking forward to an answer in this thread.

HA iSCSI, which initiator address

Hello, I just setup my first 2-node StarWind HA iSCSI target. But I'm a little confused now... How can I connect to it to be 'HA'. If I enter the IP address of one of the nodes, it's not HA. Isn't there a dedicated IP address for the target? Or am I overlooking something? p.s. Is the iSCSI target ac...
