Hello, I am looking for suggestions to improve performance with my current iSCSI setup. My main use for starwind is to serve disk images to a few video editing workstations. I am not using any HA or virtual machines. I am using an adaptec 52445 with 28 direct attached 3TB drives in a RAID 50 configu...

cannot remove target?

Hi, I am having an issue where I cannot remove a target. In the help I see a force removal
of target, but I do not see this as an option in the target menu.
If I just choose remove target, I get the message to confirm, and I do, and nothing happens.
thanks for any assistance

OS other than Windows Server 2008?

If I am building a server that is only serving starwind iscsi target virtual basic disks,
can I get away with a different flavour of windows?
If I did get Windows Server 2008 do I need to get any CAL's?
Thanks

I then went and changed it to not compressed in the file property window, I also noticed that the ready for archive was checked, which i unchecked. Then I noticed the file attributes on a...

Re: update from v.4 to v.5

I have done the update, and all my image files are working great..
but I have noticed the system is running slower approx 50-60MB/sec slower on a copy.
any ideas for getting the speed back up?
