Unfortunately not, StarWind convertor currently does not support CLI or shell scripting. :(

Re: make drives show up as removable devices

I don't think this is possible considering the entire scope of AoE devices.

Re: Event ID 15

The reason of database corruption can be related to Lanmanserver service that is not dependent on StarPort and it’s requests are handled prior to StarPort driver can handle it. Please do the following as a workaround: You need to set the LanmanServer service dependent on StarPortService. So all shar...

Re: Convert VHD to IMG

This error appears when there is a read/write error in the end of the file.

Can you describe your scenario in more details? What are you converting and where to? Also, would it be possible for you to send us the file that you are trying to convert?

Thanks.

Re: Support for VHD files?

Thona, What I meant was that this feature may not appear in StarWind shortly, but it is not the final decision on the far future prospective. Our product roadmap may change and it is quite possible that StarWind will have this functionality probably not in version 5, but one of the next releases. I ...

Re: Very Large Files

John,

We are glad everything is working with MS Initiator. Since everything is working perfectly, there is certainly no sence in re-configuring anything.

I don't think an option to mount VHD directly will appear in StarWind in the nearest future. :(

Re: Support for VHD files?

Thona,

At this point it is not possible to mount the vhd files directly to StarWind, however, you can use our free Convertor http://www.starwindsoftware.com/converter to convert them to .img files and edit them.

Thanks
