Hello all!

I test 2-node Hyper-V cluster, build by Starwind reference design. Windows Server 2012R2. I meet such issue...

If i shutdown both cluster nodes, HA-devices will be run full resync after startup. It takes approximately 10 minutes with my 100GB SSD storage and 1 GB sync uplink to bring cluster online, and I worry that on production planned size it take an eternity to rebuild, even on 10GB.

How should i shutdown my cluster to avoid full resync?

Hi Sergey,
Actually, for these situations, we have StarWind Maintenance Mode in the latest StarWind build.
You can read more by following this link.

Hi,

Maintenance mode is really what we need but how to enter maintenance mode with starwindx powershell if we have only free version and trial expired?

There is no way to do so currently. The sample script on how to use maintenance mode should be available in the next build.
