Hello,
I have a server that is hosted by RackSpace with not access to any VM environment etc. I'm trying to move it to Azure. Everything works and I get converting to 72%. Then I get a file read error!. I've checked the logs and this is what I get. Any clues on what I can do? Let me know and thank you in advance.

Code: Select all

Conversion from RackSpace is not supported by V2V converter. Please try converting a tiny VHD(x) on that VM to Azure as a test.

Hello,
I'm assuming its a VM I have no access to it excpet RDP. It acts and behaves as a regular server in all other respects. So does it not work on physicals machines? Can I use Starwind P2V to convert the computer to an VHDx image and then upload? Please advise.

Hi,

It fails while accessing the disk. That is why I suggested trying a converting a small file on that machine.
